Our History

Originally a franchised operation, Power Rod Eastern became an independently owned and operated company in the early eighties. The ownership of the business became shared in 1989 with the current proprietor, Mike Bird taking over full ownership in 1990.

Based in Bury St Edmunds and with over 25 years experience we aim to provide a comprehensive range of first rate drainage services at competitive rates.

We have built a large customer base over a number of years including Local Authorities, Suffolk CountyCouncil and many other commercial and domestic customers. We gain a significant amount of our work from repeat business and recommendations which is testament to our focus on delivering excellent customer service.

At Power Rod Eastern we are able to provide a comprehensive range of drainage work including emergency drain and pipe clearance, high pressure water jetting, drain excavation, drain repairs and installations, resin impregnated lining (the no dig solution), CCTV surveys, drain tracing and location, septic tank surveys and root cutting.

We provide free, no obligation, estimates and our experienced engineers are on hand to provide expert advice. We are also able to handle insurance work.
